Cooked Mussels

Sometimes you simply don’t need a bag of live mussels. These cooked, shelled mussels are ready to eat and incredibly useful to have around - plump, juicy and full of that lovely, unmistakable mussel flavour, without a shell in sight.

They’re brilliant for adding straight into paella, seafood pasta, chowders, fish pies and risottos, just stir them through towards the end so they warm without overcooking. Or forget cooking altogether and enjoy them cold with a squeeze of lemon, a little dressing or simply as they are. They make a rather addictive fridge-door snack!
