Our fishcakes have become something of a legend.

Prepared by #TeamFish in our own kitchen, they're made using the very same fish you'll find on our counters, combined with freshly cooked and crushed Maris Piper potatoes and carefully selected ingredients to create a range of fishcakes that customers return for again and again.

Every fishcake is handmade, shaped and lightly fried before sale, meaning all you need to do is heat them through at home. Generously sized and wonderfully satisfying, they're perfect for a quick supper, a simple lunch or as part of a larger meal with seasonal vegetables and a salad.

Whether you're discovering them for the first time or you've been buying them for years, it's easy to see why they're one of our most popular homemade products.

Our Crab Cakes weigh approximately 100g each.
All other fishcakes weigh approximately 160g each.

Did You Know...?
The earliest fishcakes were created as a way of making the most of leftover fish and potatoes. Over time they've become a much-loved dish in their own right and are now enjoyed around the world in countless different forms.

At The Fish Shop, we think the secret is simple - start with great fish and don't be stingy with it.

It's called a fishcake for a reason.

Preheat your oven to 180°C Fan.

Place the fishcakes onto a baking tray and cook for approximately 20 minutes, turning once halfway through if desired.

Cook until piping hot throughout and beautifully golden.

Serving Suggestions
Delicious served with a crisp green salad, seasonal vegetables or buttery new potatoes.

They also make a wonderfully easy midweek supper with a dollop of tartare sauce, a wedge of lemon and some peas.
