Click & Collect – The Fish Shop, Camberley

If you know exactly what you’d like, ordering in advance guarantees your fish is secured.

You’re always welcome to visit and choose from the counter, but if there’s something you simply can’t be without, placing an order ensures it will be freshly prepared and ready for you.

The real advantage of Click & Collect is peace of mind — your chosen fish is guaranteed, even on our busiest days.

Collection Times

Orders can be collected at the following times:

Tuesday: 11am – 3pm
Wednesday: 9am – 3pm
Thursday: 9am – 3pm
Friday: 9am – 3pm
Saturday: 9am – 1pm

(Although the shop opens at 8am, we may need additional time in the morning to prepare orders before collection begins. If you need to collect earlier, please call and we will do our best to help.)

Why Order in Advance?

We buy fresh fish daily and purchase carefully to avoid carrying excess stock overnight. This ensures exceptional freshness — but it also means popular items can sell out.

Placing an order:

On particularly busy days we may sell out of certain species on the counter — but pre-ordered fish is always set aside for you.

How to Order

Order Online

Place your order by 10pm for collection the day after next.

Example:
Order by 10pm Thursday → collect Saturday.

There is a £20 minimum order value for online orders due to payment processing fees. If your order is less than £20, please get in touch and we can add it manually.

Prefer to Order Direct?

If you’re ordering for today or tomorrow, or can’t see what you’re looking for online:

? Call, text or WhatsApp: 07354 849465
? Email: info@passionateaboutfish.co.uk

Text is often best during busy periods (especially 11am–2pm).

If emailing, please include:

You will receive confirmation within 48 hours.
If you don’t hear from us, please call — something may have gone wrong.

Availability

Fish is seasonal and availability changes daily.

We usually know what has been secured from the coastal auctions by around 8am the day before collection.

If something becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives. Any substitute offered will always be of equal or higher value.

It’s always sensible to have a second choice in mind.

Collecting Your Order

Your order will be freshly prepared and ready for collection on your chosen date.

Where possible, you may collect from our Customer Order Collection Point (the glass door to the left of the main shop).

However, during particularly busy periods or if we are short staffed, we may temporarily close the collection door and ask customers to enter through the main shop. In these circumstances, you may need to queue briefly with other customers.

Either way, your order will be prepared and waiting for you.

If you would like to add items on the day, simply come into the main shop and we will access your order while you choose.

Cancellations & Changes - We understand plans change.

During peak periods, once we reach preparation capacity for a given day, we may close the order book.

Christmas & Peak Periods

December is our busiest month.

We recommend placing Christmas orders by around 15th December, once you are confident of your requirements. Amendments are always more complicated than getting it right first time.

Once the order book has closed, we are unable to accept additional orders.

A Note on Freshness

We prepare orders as close to collection time as possible.

If you are running late, please let us know. Due to the perishable nature of fresh fish, we cannot hold orders indefinitely.
