These are not subtle.

Our legendary #BadBoy Tiger Prawns are enormous wild-caught Black Tiger Prawns from the Indian Ocean, with only around 8 prawns making up a kilo. They're seriously impressive and guaranteed to turn heads when they arrive at the table.

Each prawn is carefully split and deveined by #TeamFish before being generously coated in our famous Super Garlicky marinade. As they cook, the garlicky marinate melts into the shell and flesh, creating an incredible combination of sweet prawn meat and rich garlicky flavour.

Perfect for barbecues, dinner parties or simply treating yourself to something a little extravagant.

Black Tiger Prawns take their name from the distinctive dark bands across their shells.

The scientific name, Penaeus monodon, literally translates as 'single-toothed prawn', although thankfully nobody really uses the Latin name - unless you're Sue, and she does ALL THE TIME!

What most people notice is their remarkable size. At around 8 prawns per kilo, they're among the largest prawns you'll regularly find on a fishmonger's counter.

Some prawns are snacks. These are an event.

These prawns are already prepared and ready to cook.

Cook under a hot grill, in a hot oven or on the barbecue until warmed through - usually about 3-4 minutes

For the ultimate barbecue experience, cook shell-side down and allow all that delicious marinade to seep into the flesh.

Serve with crusty bread, skinny fries, a crisp green salad or simply a stack of napkins and a cold drink.
