One of Jasmine's latest creations and an instant customer favourite.

Generous chunks of our beautiful farmed Salmon are combined with a rich, creamy filling of spinach, dill and cheese before being carefully wrapped in buttery puff pastry and baked until golden.

The richness of the salmon works perfectly with the fresh dill and creamy filling, whilst the flaky pastry provides the most wonderful contrast in texture.

Comforting, satisfying and surprisingly elegant, these make an effortless lunch or supper and are ideal for those days when you want something a little special without spending hours in the kitchen.

The term en croute simply means 'in a crust' in French. Wrapping food in pastry has been used for centuries, originally helping to protect ingredients during cooking and retain moisture and flavour.

Fortunately, somebody also realised it tastes absolutely delicious.

Some ideas stand the test of time.

Preheat your oven to 180°C Fan.

Place the Salmon en Croute onto a baking tray and cook for approximately 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is piping hot throughout.

Allow to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions
Delicious served with buttery new potatoes, seasonal vegetables or a simple green salad. For something lighter, a crisp mixed leaf salad and a wedge of lemon are all you need.
