#TeamFish Potato Salad

Our legendary potato salad has become a bit of a summer institution at The Fish Shop.

Made using baby salad potatoes from the wonderful Garden of Elveden in Norfolk, we gently cook them until just tender before coating them in creamy mayonnaise and adding the ingredients that make all the difference - plenty of freshly chopped garlic and a generous handful of spring onions.

Simple? Yes. Fancy? Not particularly. Utterly delicious? Absolutely.

It's the perfect partner for our ready-marinated seafood, barbecued fish and summer salads, although many customers tell us it rarely makes it as far as the dinner table without someone helping themselves to a spoonful first.

Did You Know...?
Potatoes arrived in Britain from South America in the late 1500s and were originally viewed with great suspicion. Today, they're one of the nation's favourite foods and appear on more British dinner plates than almost any other ingredient. Thankfully, somebody eventually gave them a chance!!
