Prepared using chunky loins of Yellowfin Tuna and generously coated in our famous Super Garlicky marinade, these beautiful portions are packed with flavour and incredibly versatile.

The rich, meaty texture of the tuna works perfectly with the garlic, herbs and seasoning, creating a simple but seriously delicious dish whether cooked on the barbecue, under the grill, in a hot pan or in the oven.

Unlike many fish, tuna can be enjoyed cooked exactly as you like it. Serve it rare in the centre for a restaurant-style finish or cook it a little longer if that's your preference.

Perfect for summer barbecues, quick suppers or sliced and served alongside salads, rice or vegetables.

Suitable for freezing on the day of purchase, making them ideal to keep on standby for a quick and delicious meal whenever you need one.

Tuna are among the fastest fish in the ocean and some species can swim at speeds approaching 50mph.

Their powerful muscles are one of the reasons tuna has such a distinctive meaty texture compared with most other fish.

Built for speed and perfect for the barbecue.

For best results, cook over a high heat.

Rare: Sear for around 30-45 seconds per side.

Medium-Rare: Sear for around 1 minute per side.

Well Done: Cook for around 2-3 minutes per side.

Suitable for cooking on the barbecue, under a hot grill or in a griddle pan. Avoid overcooking if possible - tuna is at its best when still slightly pink in the centre.

Serving Suggestions
Serve sliced over a crisp salad, alongside fragrant rice or with roasted vegetables. The garlicky marinade also works beautifully with buttery new potatoes and seasonal greens.

For a summer barbecue, simply rest for a couple of minutes after cooking, slice thickly and serve family-style in the centre of the table.
