Caught in the cold waters of the Cantabrian Sea off northern Spain, these anchovies are particularly prized for their size, rich flavour and beautifully tender, fleshy texture. Cantabria, and especially the fishing town of Santoña, has become world-renowned for exceptional anchovies, where curing and preparing them is a serious craft.

Alongside them we have Anchovy Fillets with Chilli - wonderfully savoury anchovies with a little warmth from chilli.

Forget those tiny, ferociously salty anchovies that disappear into a pasta sauce. These are anchovies to actually eat. Serve simply with really good bread, add to an antipasti board, lay over bruschetta or pizza, or frankly just attack the jar with a fork.
