Prepared using generous fillets of our beautiful ChalkStream Trout, these portions are coated in our Moroccan Spiced marinade and packed in an ovenable cooking bag, ready to go straight into the oven.

The aromatic blend of paprika, cinnamon, turmeric and warming spices creates a wonderfully fragrant dish with plenty of flavour and just a gentle hint of chilli. The rich texture of the trout works beautifully with these North African-inspired flavours, creating something a little different from the everyday.

The ovenable bag helps keep the fish moist and succulent whilst allowing all those delicious flavours to infuse during cooking, making this one of the easiest ways to enjoy trout at home.

Suitable for freezing, making them ideal to keep on standby for a quick and delicious meal whenever you need one.

Moroccan cuisine is famous for balancing sweet, savoury and aromatic spices in the same dish. Ingredients such as cinnamon, paprika and turmeric are often used together, creating layers of flavour rather than heat.

Preheat your oven to 180°C Fan.

Place the unopened ovenable bag onto a baking tray and cook for 10-12 minutes.

Carefully open the bag before serving as steam will be released.

That's all it needs.

Serving Suggestions
Serve with fluffy couscous, roasted vegetables or a simple salad. The aromatic juices created during cooking are delicious spooned over couscous or used as a dressing for warm vegetables.
